The lever lock on the legs tightens down in one quick motion, and the whole thing feels rock solid even with my heaviest lens attached. The fact that the center column pulls out into a full monopod is genius for hiking when I don't want to carry extra gear.

I was pleasantly surprised by how stable the ball head feels even with my heavier lens attached, and the integrated monopod is a clever space-saver for hiking trips.

The center ball head provides surprisingly smooth panning for landscapes, and the travel lever locks everything down fast. I've used it on a few hikes now and it's light enough to not slow me down. Really happy with how stable it remains even at full extension.
