Rokinon 85mm F1.4 Aspherical Lens

Took this lens out for a street shoot yesterday and the minimum focusing distance of 3.3ft let me get surprisingly close candids. The aperture ring has a nice, firm click from f/1.4 to f/2.8 that I appreciate.

Shot portraits at f/1.4 and the bokeh is buttery smooth, much dreamier than I expected. The 72mm filter thread makes it easy to use my existing ND filters.

The f/1.4 aperture is razor sharp in the center, and the 72mm filter thread makes it easy to pair with my existing ND filters. Bokeh at wide open is creamy, and the minimum focus of 3.3 feet is plenty for tight portraits. I’ve shot about 200 frames so far and can’t find a flaw in the build or optics
