Finally, a filter that actually blocks visible light completely for true infrared shots. The solid black glass leaves no doubt that only IR is hitting the film.

Using this with Rollei IR 400 film, the results are exactly what I was hoping for—completely invisible visible light blockage, giving true infrared blacks. No noticeable color cast on the glass, and it threads smoothly onto my lens.

The glass feels solid in the hand, and it did exactly what it was supposed to—my infrared shots came out with that deep, moody contrast I was after. Took a bit of fiddling to get the exposure right, but once I did, the results were worth it.
