The graduated transition is really smooth, no harsh line across the frame like some cheaper filters. Works perfectly for balancing bright skies with darker foregrounds in my landscape shots.

I was worried the 0.3 density might be too subtle for bright skies, but on my 49mm lens it balances the exposure perfectly without any color cast.

Bought this for my vintage 50mm f/1.4 lens and the 49mm thread fit perfectly—the gradual darkening is subtle but really helps balance bright skies against darker foregrounds. Works exactly as a graduated ND should.
