Canon ET-87 Lens Hood

The bayonet mount clicks on with zero play and the reverse lock is handy when packing it away. My fingers actually have room to reach the zoom ring, which wasn't the case with my older hood. It does exactly what it's supposed to for the 70-200mm.

I was worried about flare in bright sun, but this hood locks on securely and the petal shape really blocks stray light without adding much bulk.

I wish the hood came with a replacement cap, but it does lock into place perfectly on the 70-200mm. The shade cuts flare noticeably even in direct sunlight.
