ライカ APO-SUMMICRON-SL 50mm f/2 非球面レンズ

Shot my first real event with this last weekend, and the way it renders fine detail even wide open is honestly shocking. The three aspherical elements really pull their weight, giving a creamy out-of-focus background while keeping edges razor sharp across the entire frame.

The chromatic aberration correction is so good at f/2 that I've stopped worrying about backlit subjects entirely. Edge-to-edge sharpness is genuinely stunning even before stopping down.

I shot a full day of portraits wide open at f/2 and every frame came back tack sharp corner to corner, no fringing even against bright windows. Twelve elements sounds excessive until you see how it renders skin tones. Heavy, but I'll carry it.
