Canon RS-60E3 Remote Switch

Finally a shutter release that actually works with my 70D without any finicky pairing. The cable is just long enough for me to step away from the tripod and trigger the shot cleanly.

I've been using this with my 70D for remote shooting of long-exposure landscapes, and the 3-foot cord gives me just enough distance from the camera without needing a wireless setup. The shutter response is immediate with no lag, which made a real difference for my night shots.

Finally a remote that works across my older Rebels and the Elan 7 without fiddling with menus—half-press and full-press both feel crisp. The build is a bit plasticky, but for the price it's done exactly what I needed on three different bodies.
