Category: Battery Grips

Extremely compact and handy battery-powered motor drive. The LEICA MOTOR M is attached to the camera in place of the baseplate and it couples to the camera mechanically. Provides a choice of 1.5 or 3 frames per second. Specially designed motor with a particularly quiet friction drive, the sound is reduced even further at the 1.5 fps exposure frequency. Runs on two 3 V lithium batteries Type 123 A, housed in the ergonomically designed grip.

Violet ★★★★★

Attaches seamlessly where the baseplate goes, and the dual speed settings (1.5 or 3 fps) give just the right burst control. Feels solid in hand, never wobbly.

Sebastian ★★★★★

Finally found a winder that doesn’t turn my M6 into a brick—this one’s barely thicker than the baseplate, and the 1.5/3 fps switch is perfect for stealthy street shooting.

Sebastian ★★★★★

The whole thing clicks on in seconds, replacing the baseplate just like it should, and the choice between 1.5 or 3 fps is perfect for when I want to burn through a roll or stretch it out. It's so compact that my M6 still fits in the same bag slot as before, which honestly surprised me.
