Cullmann Tablepod Base for the High Load Magnesit Ball Heads.

The base screws onto the ball head perfectly, and the rubber ring on the bottom keeps it from sliding around on the table. It feels much more stable than using a standard tripod plate for low-angle shots.

I was pleasantly surprised by how solid this base feels once tightened down—it gives my ball head a much more stable platform on a tabletop. The threads engaged smoothly and there was no wobble at all during use. Exactly what I needed for low-angle macro shots.

The base is rock solid once my ball head is screwed on, no wobble at all even with a heavier lens. The Magnesit head mounts flush and the whole thing sits flat on a table without tipping. Took a minute to figure out the threading, but it's been perfect since.
