The AF Zoom-Nikkor is a high-performance telephoto lens with a focal length range of 80-200mm and 2.5x zoom that helps to create bright, sharp images and blurred backgrounds thanks to its widest aperture of f/2.8 and Extra-Low Dispersion glass delivering maximum light throughout the entire zoom range to the camera's sensor - even in low-light situations. it's not an “AF-S” or equivalent lens. AF is done via a drive pin in the body.

Emily ★★★★★

The f/2.8 aperture lets in so much light that I can shoot indoor basketball games without a flash. Even used, the barrel feels solid with just a bit of dust in the creases. This has quickly become my go-to for portraits too.

Daniel D. ★★★★★

The zoom ring is a bit stiff at first but loosens up beautifully after a few uses, and the f/2.8 aperture really shines for indoor sports. Sharpness wide open is fantastic, and the push-pull design feels incredibly smooth once you get the hang of it.

William ★★★★★

I've been shooting indoor sports with this used lens and the f/2.8 aperture really helps freeze action in low gym lighting. The push-pull zoom takes a minute to get used to but feels solid and smooth once you're in the flow.
