Product Highlight:

  • Mounts to Camera Multi-Function Shoe
  • Fits DM-E1D Digital Stereo Microphone
  • 2.6' Straight Extension Cable
  • Allows Off-Camera Flash Triggering

The 2.6' OC-E4A Off-Camera Multi-Function Shoe Cord from Canon provides photographers with the ability to remotely fire Canon flashes. Removing the flash from the camera's hot shoe allows unique and dramatic lighting styles that are not possible with a traditional shoe-mounted strobe. Off-camera lighting reduces the harsh shadows commonly encountered with direct on-camera flashes and gives photographs a more natural look. This Multi-Function compatible cord is also compatible with the DM-E1D Digital Stereo Microphone, making it useful for video-based applications.

Michael ★★★★★

The 2.6-foot cable gives me just enough room to position a flash off-camera without getting tangled, and I appreciate that it also works with the DM-E1D microphone. It's a solid, no-fuss accessory that makes my setup more flexible.

Samuel ★★★★★

Finally, a cable that lets me trigger my flash off-camera without any signal lag or fuss. The 2.6-foot length is perfect for keeping the flash close by but not tethered to the hot shoe.

Violet ★★★★☆

Works perfectly for getting the DM-E1D mic off the hot shoe, and the 2.6' cable gives just enough reach to avoid shadow in tight shots. Only gripe is the cord feels a bit stiff right out of the box, but it loosens up after a few bends. Solid for the price.
