The UV-Haze #010 MRC Basic Filter from B+W is a 67mm filter that reduces ultraviolet light transmission, reducing the bluish case atmospheric caste when shooting outdoors. It also adds a clear layer of protection for the front element of a lens with a resistance coating that repels dirt and water and protects against scratches and abrasions. The filter is made of precision German optical glass, each side featuring 7 layers of Broadband coating for high-contrast pictures with minimal residual reflection and a uniform light transmission level of 99.5%.

The brass filter ring features an enhanced knurling pattern for improved grip and a special functional coating for smooth mounting and dismounting. The ring features front threads, and its low-profile design makes it suitable for use with wide-angle lenses.

Sebastian ★★★★★

The 99.5% light transmission is exactly what I needed; there's zero noticeable effect on my images. The brass threads are noticeably smoother than the aluminum ring on my old filter, which is a relief. It’s a solid piece of glass that feels like it will last.

Harper X. ★★★★★

The brass ring threads on and off so smoothly, no wrestling with it on the lens. I can’t tell any difference in my shots with the 99.5% light transmission, which is exactly what I wanted from a protective filter.

Nicholas ★★★★★

I was worried a filter might soften my shots, but the brass ring screws on smooth and the Schott glass keeps everything crystal clear. No weird color cast, just clean protection for my lens.
