Ryan P. ★★★★★

The 8.4-inch collapsed length makes it way easier to fit in my backpack than I expected for a 500mm. I’ve been shooting birds at the local park all week and the image quality is sharp enough that I’m cropping in without any worry.

Chloe F. ★★★★★

I’ve been taking this out to the marsh for waterfowl shots and the image quality is impressively sharp even at 500mm. The compact size really surprised me; it fits in my bag without hogging space.

Evelyn ★★★★★

I was worried the autofocus might struggle at 500mm, but the VXD motor locks onto birds in flight incredibly fast. Even with the variable aperture, the shots are sharp and the VC actually keeps things stable at 1/100th of a second.
