Category: Hood

Features:

  • Helps prevent glare and sun flare, for evenly saturated exposures

Lens hoods are primarily designed to prevent unwanted stray light from entering the lens by extending and shading the end of the lens. In addition, since the end of the lens is extended, you also get the added benefit of some extra protection from accidental impact.

Dedicated lens hoods are designed to match the specific focal length of the lens it was designed.

Customer Reviews (4.4 / 5 · 5 reviews)

Ella V. ★★★★★

It perfectly blocks out side light on sunny days, so my flower close-ups no longer look washed out. The bayonet mount clicks on securely with no wobble at all.

Sophia ★★★★★

Finally got this mounted on my 70-200 and it cut out the side flare I was getting in bright landscapes. Secures firmly and feels sturdy, exactly what I needed.

Matthew ★★★★★

Took it out on a sunny day and the difference in contrast was immediately noticeable—no more flare ruining shots. Fits perfectly on the lens and feels sturdy enough to take a knock in the bag.
