In regard to imaging, the instax mini 8 features a Fujinon 60mm lens that is capable of focusing as close as 2' away. A built-in flash provides additional illumination for exposures when working in low-light conditions and automatic exposure control helps to ensure consistently accurate exposures in a variety of lighting conditions. An optical viewfinder with an integrated target spot is available for image composition and an exposure counter is incorporated into the design to visually display the number of exposures remaining in the film pack. For extra convenience, due to their widespread availability, the instax mini utilizes two AA batteries as its power source.

Madison F. ★★★★★

The auto exposure feature makes it super easy to just point and shoot, even for someone like me who’s never used a instant camera before. The prints are credit card sized, which is perfect for sticking in my wallet or giving to friends.

Thomas S. ★★★★★

I love that the built-in flash lets me take clear shots indoors without worrying about lighting, and the auto exposure switching makes it foolproof for a beginner like me. The prints are such a fun, physical keepsake from my trip.

Henry ★★★★★

The prints come out the perfect credit card size for my wallet, and the built-in flash works great even in dim rooms. I love how simple the manual switching is for different lighting conditions.
