Nikon HB-53 Bayonet Lens Hood

The bayonet mount is exactly what I needed—it clicks on in a second and stays put while I’m shooting. It does its job as a sun shade without adding any bulk to the lens, which I appreciate.

I was worried the plastic might feel cheap, but it clicks into place with a satisfying snap and completely blocks stray light on my 24-120mm. Cut down on lens flare noticeably during a sunny afternoon shoot.

The bayonet mount fits perfectly on my 24-120mm, and it effectively blocks stray light without adding much weight. Really glad I picked this up to protect the front element.
