Promaster 67mm ND2X Neutral Density Filter

Had to stop down for a bright beach scene, and this ND filter let me keep my aperture wide open without blowing out the highlights. The glass feels solid and the threads are smooth to mount.

I used this filter to drop my shutter speed two stops on a bright afternoon and even the sky gradients look completely neutral—no weird color cast in the clouds. The glass threads onto my lens smoothly and it's already paid for itself in a single hiking trip.

Wide-open shots at noon used to mean blowing out the sky, but this filter cuts the light just enough to keep the shutter speed where I need it. The threading on the ring is smooth too, no wrestling it onto the lens.
