Swapped out the original back on my G1 and the date imprint is crisp and perfectly aligned with the frame. The quartz LCD keeps time accurately, and installation took less than a minute.

Finally got around to installing this today and the quartz-controlled LCD is spot on—the date prints crisp and clean right in the corner of every shot. Swapping it onto the camera body took less than a minute, so it's genuinely a no-fuss upgrade.
