I've been using this 49mm graduated ND filter on my vintage lens, and the 0.3-2x density range is perfect for balancing bright skies with darker foregrounds. The glass feels solid, and it screws on smoothly without any vignetting.

The glass in this 49mm graduated ND filter feels solid, and the screw thread is smooth without any binding. I used it to balance a bright sky with a darker foreground, and the transition on the gradient is subtle enough to look natural.
